We just received an Award of Excellence for the year 2010 from the Environmental Health Agency –Health Department to you –in recognition of “consistently protecting the residents and visitors of Orange County through excellence in food safety and sanitation”at our food establishment. This is based on inspection [...] Some of the most exciting news so far –our all-new Menu is almost here. This new Worldly Menu is triple the size of our current Daily Menu! [...] Greetings. Lina and I are taking a few days off this Summer. Please we will be away from our cafe starting Tuesday August 3rd and re-opening Saturday,August 7th at 5pm for Tapas and Dinner Service. [...] We recently took a little drive to San Ysidro –the last possible exit off of the freeway before you hit the Mexican border. We were looking for cheap clothes and we found it. Most of the booth proprietors did not speak English. No worries here. Amongst these vendors was a taco truck. Definitely no English –but it didn’t matter. We were speaking the language of food. The cook was sauteing carne asada…beautiful meat. [...] We feel we are often doing our job while working. What do we mean by that? We are the Cafe of Worldly Inspirations. Many Guests enter to dine and are often flabbergasted at our Daily Menu. They see ingredients on the menu and are excited about them. I’ll admit,some do not know what Gorgonzola is. That’s ok. It’s our job as Cafe Owners to educate our Guests. Well I shared that Gorgonzola is the cousin of Bleu Cheese…it made more sense and that Guest loved it on his sandweech. [...] | |
