Last year, my neighborhood ladies group entered the Tearoom at our pre-appointed time. We are called the Elegant Lovelies whose ages range from 50 to 100. We were greeted with sensuous scents for our olfactory system and delicate china and figurines for our eye fancy. Since this is an elegant tea room, we did not want to show up in tank tops, cut offs, and flip flop shoes. Fortunately we fit in very well as we were dressed in our fine garments although no one wore a formal gown.

The presentation was elegant and the food and beverages were presented in fine old world receptacles. We all remarked about the charm of the tea room. But the main enjoyment was the tastiness of the morsels of food. Each bite to perfection. It looked good, it smelled good, each mouth felt like it was having a party.

For special occasions, I have introduced friends to this old world charm for gentle conversation throughout the year. But our ladies group wants to plan another luncheon this year for around ten people. And we don’t talk to just our group, but to others in the tearoom. The room is out of the ordinary and very pleasant. Thank you.
